This review is from years Braun shaver user with a hard beard and sensitive skin (a bad combination). Long enough to read, but hopefully worth the read.

I stared pricey electrical razor right at time when Braun released the Syncro. The Syncro shaved fast, smooth, and fast, with small irritation, though it was a little rough, especially on my upper lip. I shaved with this razor happily manage.

Constantly looking to improve my shaver quality, I would try each new best Braun razors that came out following the Syncro, like Activator, 360, and Pulsonic, that were terrible and I would return towards the Syncro. As near as I tell these razors were lacking because of the crazy blue center cutter with really sharp edges – the shave wasn’t close at all and would cause my cheek’s to break out in red bumps which wouldn’t go away even after over a month of shaving.

Then a few years ago Braun came out on the 390cc, a nice looking razor that for very first time shaved as close as the Syncro, but more comfortably when we used it – they did away on the crazy blue center strip and improved in different methods I’m certain. Strangely this model was the third down the Braun shaver line, but shaved significantly more than the best Pulsonic product. I secretly wished that Braun would take the great shaver head over the 390cc and sprinkle towards the Pulsonic, I would be pleased pay more for extra bells and whistles.

Sure enough, the 790cc-4 (the “-4″ is most significant!) offers a similar head towards the 390cc, just the Braun Series 7-790cc is really a more round razor. It’s better than the 390cc so you have a quicker, smoother shave, yet is really close and every bit as comfortable. It also works well in difficult areas including under the ears and over the neck (I suffer from problem shaving my neck that is all but cured with this razor). I can safely say this is the worlds best electrical razor!

The cleaning base is easy to use and over worth cost the cleaning cartridges which free you from having to clean the razor yourself, you could lock the shaver head for hard to reach areas of the face (though so far I never found a real need for me lock it), you will find sensitivity settings (this works, never a gimmick, though I simply leave it within the general middle position), you could wash the head with soft soap while traveling (haven’t had the opportunity to try this yet but a welcome feature that was also over the 390cc), the pop out trimmer is over acceptable, and the total design it great.

It’s like driving a Porsche across your face, shaving is fun again. I’m so impressed I’ve also purchased 1 for my father.

Definitely worth the cash, purchase it and be pleased. Thank you Braun!

You know, I’ve wanted this shaver since a long time ago. And Finally got it for christmas, and I am really happy my dreams come true.

I have just used an electrical shaver some times before, and wanted another to a razor because i hate the mess!

It’s comfortable and unbelievable fast, also very quiet. But like every different electrical shaver (as i know it) it doesn’t do as well as a blade razor. But I already anticipated that.
And so far since i have this fabulous Braun Series 7-790cc, I’ve not used a razor for over a month! I really love my electric shaver!

Why I gave 4 stars then? ‘Cause nothing in my life is 5 stars!! HAHAHA.

The Braun 7-790cc series gives a fast, close, and most comfortable shave experience. Having switched towards the 7 after using the 5 for a few years, I really hope an improvement. But I wasn’t prepared for different shaving experience of the 7. It takes many less strokes across my face, shaves extremely close, and therefore sharp that I have no burn or different discomfort. I’ve tender skin and even an eclectic could burn my neck. But not with the Braun 7 series. It shaves so close that even I can shave at night, saving time within the morning. By the following morning (36 hours later), I start experience stubble. The shaver is great.

I’ve used electrics most of my life and this one has its own class that beyond my expectation. It gets all of the hairs, including those lying flat and in hard spots. Though yes, it’s a little noiser than the 5, the 7 is very quiet. I’m recommending it to my buddies who shave with razors.

I don’t use most bells and whistles. I simply set it with the suggested fast and close setting. The cleaning device is simple, and it tells you when you need to substitute the fluid cartridge.
I very recommend the Braun Series 7-790cc Pulsonic Shaver. Don’t worry about cost. It’s worth it of every penny you would spend on it.
